  Joining Subsea Energy Australia

Australia holds enormous potential for a subsea industry and has a growing base of local expertise. SEA will help to develop and market this expertise. Membership of SEA will allow your orgnisation access to the benefits, promotions, functions and other services offered. If you represent a company within the Australian subsea industry you will benefit from being a member of SEA. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss how SEA can help you, your business and your industry as a whole.

  Membership Fees

SEA is rapidly growing and it’s a great time to get onboard and help shape what is expected to be a successful dynamic organsiation actively promoting Australia’s, and in particular its members capabilities and services on offer. Membership costs are outlined in the following table.

Membership is a yearly subscription starting as of 1 January each year and will be charged on a pro rata basis (per quarter) for part year membership. Number of employees is for those who work in the subsea sector (thus, for example, if you also provide topside or non-subsea services then the number of employees will not necessarily be everyone in your organisation). You do not need to be a member to attend the technical events. The rates shown are fixed until the end of 2011. The rates have increased from 2010 as it became necessary for Subsea Energy Australia to now charge GST (which is included in the quoted rates).

If you are unable to determine the level of membership, possibly because the number of personnel working in the subsea sector is ill defined within your organisation, then please email our membership officer, Keith Smalley, at accounts@subseaenergyaustralia.com who will contact you to discuss the appropriate level.

*Note that the Associate Member category has yet to be approved in the Subsea Energy Australia Rules of Association. Further details of this category will be provided following the Special General Meeting to be held on 2 February 2011. (Refer to the News page for more details).
